Los Cabos is one of my new favourite places to holiday, situated on the tip of the Baja peninsula are the towns of Cabo San Lucas and San Jose del Cabo.Cabo San Lucas used to be nothing more than a sleepy fishing village, it has now been transformed into a world-class tourist resort with an exciting and varied array of restaurants and nightclubs. If your hoping to catch a glimpse of a movie star this is the place to be, last time I was there I met people from the reality series, the Amazing Race.
If you prefer a more peacful experience but still close to the action then San Jose del Cabo is the spot for you, offering a tranquil atmosphere with boutiques, markets and an authentic Mexican feel.
Both destinations share multiple golf courses, plus deep sea fishing, scuba diving and seasonal whale watching opportunites.
